Journal Entry: Research and provide a summary of a CSS ID and CSS Class selectors. Please compare them and explain their different uses.

Class Activity:

1. Create an animated image that transitions between three separate images (your choice - appropriate) and:

• transitions through opacity and different positions (slight change is sufficient)
• repeats itself 3 times and stops
• the .gif should appear on the html page we have been using in class at an absolute position (top left corner) of 700 pixels from the top and 500 pixels from the left side of the page.

      2.  The image .gif should be 120px wide x 160px tall.

Journal Entry: Research and provide a summary of the CSS Box Model. What are the four ways of positioning using the model? What is the z-index used for?

Class Activity:

 Using the single web page you created last class, create an external css file that demonstrates the following on that page using a template file from your previous work. Include the following information and formating:

• a 75 pixel x 300 pixel rectangle that has a dotted green border and solid blue fill, under
• a 300 pixel x 75 pixel rectangle that has a solid black border and solid green fill, under
• a 150 pixel x 150 pixel rectangle that has a solid green border and solid red fill.

The object should look something like the graphic below:

Journal Activity: Create a single web page using a template file from your previous work. Include the following information and formating:

• Page title - Your Name - 2012
• A hyperlink to your wiki journal - named "Firstname - FOWD Wiki"
• A picture of something you received for christmas with a caption of why you were excited to receive it. Provide an appropriate "alt" text for the image.
• Using CSS set the page background color to "lime green"
• Set the font color for your text to "dark red" and "bold"
